Born to a multicultural family of Cubans and Americans, Ariana Figueroa grew up in Athens, Georgia, where she observed early on how lifestyle choices shape health and well-being, along with the unique challenges people face in prioritizing them.
At Middlebury College in Vermont, she immersed herself in Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese, cultivating her passion for connection across cultures. Her journey into holistic health led her to study herbalism with the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and train as an Integrative Health and Wellness Coach with Duke Integrative Medicine, later expanding her skills with RealBalance Coaching in Colorado. Now board-certified by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches, she is pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at Western Carolina University. Ariana has completed the Beginning stage of certification to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and is currently in the Intermediate year of study.
As a Coach and Facilitator, Ariana is dedicated to fostering a space where insight and meaningful change can flourish. In her Health Coaching work, she utilizes positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and the neuroscience of behavior change. With a focus on genuine connection, Ariana listens to her patients’ stories and supports them in actualizing their best health and well-being. In her Somatic Experiencing work, Ariana roots deep to create a safe, respectful space where curiosity and healing can occur.
In her free time, Ariana loves diving into neuroscience, experimenting with new recipes, nurturing her garden, and moving through space. You might find her kicking around a soccer ball with her son Luke, hitting the trails with her husband Christopher, gardening as a family, or enjoying a quiet moment with her knitting needles.
